you just wait for the moment to pass
as if nothing is happening.

you're left stranded
like your emotions are solid ice.

you want to speak
but your mouth dries up.

you feel your heart ripped to pieces
but they're so small no one can see.

Sometimes...
you pick yourself up
and pretend it's ok.

But you know it isn't!

Sometimes...
it all seems
pointless.

And then it hits you,
inside yourself,
maybe,
maybe you're to blame
and it's all...
your own fault!

Then,
you really need that someone
that especial person in your life,
to say to you...
"I still believe you,
I still need you..."
